Tamale City held Berekum Chelsea to a 1-1 draw at the Golden City Park in matchday 23 of the Ghana Premier League.
The visitors took the lead through Justice Mensah in the 22nd minute and held onto their advantage till halftime.
Berekum Chelsea were on the brink of a home defeat, but Mezack Afriyie scored a late goal to rescue a point for the hosts.
Afriyie, who leads the goal king chart with 11 goals, ensured the Bibires maintained their unbeaten home record this season.
Despite the draw, Berekum Chelsea remains in the top half of the league table, occupying the 8th position with 33 points, while Tamale City is in the 15th spot with 28 points after 23 games played.
