In a friendly match held at the Accra Sports Stadium, the Black Princesses, Ghana’s female U-20 team, secured a resounding 11-0 victory over their counterparts from Niger.

The team displayed their attacking prowess, with Stella Nyamekye and Faiza Seidu each scoring impressive hat-tricks. Maafia Nyame contributed with a brace, while Helen Alormenu, Tracy Twum, and Mary Amponsah also found the back of the net.

This friendly encounter against Niger is an important part of the Black Princesses’ preparations for the upcoming Girls U-20 WAFU B Cup of Nations, which is set to take place in Kumasi.

The tournament, featuring Ghana, Nigeria, Cote D’Ivoire, Benin, Niger, Togo, and Burkina Faso, will be held at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium from Saturday, May 20, to Saturday, June 4, 2023.
