Bofoakwa Tano FC secured their spot in the Ghana Premier League after a thrilling encounter against Eleven Wonders in the division one zone I playoff at the Ohene Gyan Stadium.
The match ended 1-1 in regulation time, leading to a penalty shootout which Bofoakwa Tano won 7-6.
Eleven Wonders fielded a strong lineup for the game, including players like Sulemana Rashid, Experience Simms Kwayie, Clement Boahen, Prince Baffoe, and Hamza Mohammad. On the other hand, Bofoakwa Tano relied on the likes of Emmanuel Kobi, Francis Mawuli, Leslie Aryeetey, and Enoch Abuu as they aimed for victory.

The game proceeded to extra time, but neither team managed to score, prolonging the tension and excitement for the fans. Ultimately, the match was decided by a penalty shootout, where Bofoakwa Tano emerged victorious, winning 7-6 on penalties.
With this victory, Bofoakwa Tano FC secured promotion to the Ghana Premier League after a sixteen-year absence, marking a significant achievement for the club.
