Division One side Golden Kick Sporting Club made history on Saturday with a stunning 3-1 victory over Attram De Visser to book a place in the MTN FA Cup final for the very first time.
In a dominant semifinal performance, Bless Ege was the star of the show, scoring a brilliant brace to lead his side to glory. Paul Yeboah added a third to cap off a memorable evening, while Attram De Visser could only manage a consolation through Precious Gyimah.
The win marks a significant milestone for Golden Kick, who now become the first Division One club to reach the FA Cup final since Okwahu United’s run in 2016, when they lost 2-1 to eventual champions Bechem United.
With this impressive result, Golden Kick now await the winner of the second semifinal between Asante Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea, set to be played on Sunday, May 11 at the TNA Stadium.
Golden Kick are now just one game away from making even more history — potentially becoming the first second-tier side in nearly a decade to lift Ghana’s most prestigious knockout trophy.
