Isaac Mensah and Michael Osei were on the scoresheet for Great Olympics who secured a 2-0 victory over Kotoku Royals to climb out of the relegation zone in the betPawa Ghana Premier League.
The two clubs squared off today in Week 30 of the Ghana Premier League season.
Great Olympics, however, did enough to earn the major three points at the end of 90 minutes.
The home team led at halftime today thanks to a score from Isaac Mensah in the 44th minute.
Later in the second half, in the 54th minute, Michael Osei levelled to double Great Olympics’ lead.
Victory over the 18-placed team means Bismark Kobi-Mensah’s side are now out of the relegation for the time being with four more games to go until the end of the season.
