The 29th week of the ongoing 2022/23 season of the Ghana Premier League has ended, with the final game between Kotoku Royals and Aduana Stars played on Monday, May 1, at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu.
Although Aduana Stars was expected to secure a big win, the team failed to live up to expectations, resulting in a 1-1 draw.
In the first half, both teams had limited chances and failed to score any goals. After the break, Aduana Stars took the lead in the 70th minute with a strike from Isaac Mintah, giving them a chance to secure three points.
However, they failed to defend their lead, with Prince Kwame Dogbe equalizing for Kotoku Royals, ending the match in a draw.
Despite dropping points, Aduana Stars remain at the top of the Ghana Premier League standings, while Kotoku Royals remain at the bottom of the league log.
