Ghanaian champions Medeama SC have embarked on a training tour to the United Arab Emirates as part of their preparations for the upcoming matches of the season.
The Mauves and Yellows departed from their home country earlier this mid-afternoon for the UAE, where they will be hosted by the UAE Pro League side Al-Nasr SC.
The training tour aims to fine-tune Medeama’s strategies and tactics ahead of their crucial fixtures, including their final group game in the CAF Champions League.
Medeama suffered a narrow 0-1 home defeat to Egyptian giants Al Ahly in their recent match-day five encounter, which confirmed their elimination from the CAF Champions League following Yanga’s victory over CR Belouizdad.
During their stay in the UAE, Medeama will engage in preparatory activities, including a friendly match against Al Ameed, to assess their readiness for the upcoming challenges.
Following their stint in the UAE, Medeama SC will proceed to Algeria, where they are scheduled to face CR Belouizdad in their final group match on Friday, March 1, 2024.
