Hearts of Oak’s newly appointed head coach, Coach Aboubakar Ouattara, has expressed his concern over the current state of the club, attributing its decline to certain individuals within the organization.
Taking charge of his inaugural match over the weekend, Ouattara led the Phobians to a resounding 3-0 victory over Real Tamale United.
However, despite the positive result, Ouattara emphasized the need to address the underlying issues plaguing the club and vowed to work tirelessly to elevate Hearts of Oak to its rightful status as one of Africa’s football giants.
“Hearts of Oak is not just one of the best clubs in Ghana; it is one of the biggest clubs in Africa. However, certain individuals are contributing to its decline. I refuse to accept this. Through dedication and hard work, we will restore Hearts of Oak to its former glory,” remarked Coach Aboubakar Ouattara.
With the convincing win over Real Tamale United, Hearts of Oak has climbed to 9th place on the league table, signaling a potential turnaround under the new coaching regime.
Looking ahead, the Phobians are set to take on Nsoatreman FC in their upcoming fixture, where they will aim to build on their recent success and continue their journey towards resurgence.
