Medeama SC head coach Nebojsa Kapor is gearing up for a tough encounter as his team prepares to face Hearts of Oak in their upcoming Ghana Premier League match.
The Yellow and Mauve team will host the Phobians at TNA Park in the Matchday 9 fixture, set to kick off at 18:00 GMT.
Hearts of Oak have had a challenging season so far, sitting in 11th place with only 9 points from 8 games.
In the pre-match press conference, Kapor expressed confidence in his squad’s preparations while acknowledging the challenges of playing a team like Hearts of Oak, despite their recent struggles.
“I’m always very happy when we play a match like this. It doesn’t matter where they stand on the table; it’s always an excellent match. We always prepare as if they are the best because they always have good players,” Kapor remarked.
While he noted Hearts of Oak’s difficulties, he made it clear that his primary focus remains on his own team. “I don’t understand what their problem is, and that’s not my problem. I don’t deal with other teams, but we should prepare our team well,” he added.
