Medeama SC bounced back in style on Saturday night, delivering a commanding 3-0 win against Young Apostles in a lively Premier League fixture at the Tarkwa and Aboso Stadium.
Right-back Kamaradini Mamudu starred with a brace, while captain Fatawu Sulemana added a header to secure a dominant result for the Mauve and Yellow. From the first whistle, Medeama took control, dictating the pace and putting their opponents under constant pressure.
Kamaradini opened the scoring with a stunning shot into the top corner, giving Medeama an early advantage. He doubled the lead shortly after, calmly finishing from inside the penalty area to tighten the home side’s grip on the game.
Captain Fatawu Sulemana then capped a perfect first half, diving to head home the third goal, effectively putting the result beyond doubt before halftime.
With the majority of possession and an energetic home crowd behind them, Medeama maintained their dominance throughout, leaving the Premier League newcomers struggling to keep up.
The win sees Ibrahim Tanko’s men climb to fifth on the league table with 44 points from 29 matches, while Young Apostles slip to 13th and now face a tough battle to finish the season strongly.
Medeama will aim to build on this impressive performance as they push for a strong end to their campaign.
