Medeama FC has successfully secured the services of midfielder Michael Enu, sealing the deal with a three-year contract. The 26-year-old footballer finalized the formalities associated with his move, solidifying his commitment to the club.

During the preceding season, Enu showcased his prowess with Bibiani Gold Stars, featuring in 29 matches, netting three goals, and earning two Man of the Match Awards. In the current campaign, he made three appearances for the Golden Boys before his contract concluded.

The midfielder, brimming with excitement, expressed his eagerness to join the ranks of the 2023/24 CAF Champions League participants. Enu, now part of the team’s group training, aspires to contribute to the club’s success and enhance his own skills in his new footballing home.

In an interview with medeamasc.org, Enu shared his enthusiasm, stating, “This is a fantastic move for me, and I can’t wait to get started in Tarkwa.” Having previously worked under assistant coach Nana Amankwah at Bibiani Gold Stars, he anticipates a smoother integration into the Medeama FC squad.

Acknowledging the club’s esteemed reputation, Enu is well aware of the expectations that come with being associated with Medeama. He views joining the reigning Ghana Premier League champions as a significant step forward in his career. “To be part of this great club is great for me and my career,” he affirmed.

Coach Evans Augustine Adotey praised the acquisition, recognizing Enu’s versatility as a valuable asset in their multi-frontal campaign. Adotey expressed his satisfaction with the midfielder’s decision to join Medeama FC, citing the tactical and technical qualities that Enu brings to the midfield.

With the anticipation building, Enu might make his debut appearance for Medeama FC against his former club, Bibiani Gold Stars. The midfielder has been included in the 20-man squad for the upcoming home match at the Akoon Community Park.

Highlighting Enu’s football journey, it’s worth noting his previous stints with Liberty Professionals and AshantiGold. His diverse experience adds depth to the midfielder’s skill set as he embarks on this new chapter with Medeama FC.
