Stefan Andreasson, the Chief Executive Officer of Elfsborg, showered praise on Ghanaian midfielder Michael Baidoo, hailing him as one of the premier midfielders in Sweden. This accolade came on the heels of Baidoo’s decision to extend his contract with the club for an additional three years.

Having arrived from Norwegian outfit Sandnes Ulf in January 2022, the 24-year-old midfielder swiftly made his mark with Elfsborg, consistently delivering standout performances on the field.
Over the course of two dynamic seasons, Baidoo has firmly established himself as a linchpin for Elfsborg, showcasing his adaptability and skill while amassing an impressive record of 14 goals and 9 assists across 54 competitive appearances.
In the recently concluded Swedish league campaign, Baidoo’s impact was palpable as he featured in 28 matches, contributing 5 goals and setting up 6 more for his teammates. His contributions played a pivotal role in Elfsborg’s success throughout the season.
