Micky Charles declares GFA Vetting Committee’s activities as null and void

President of Techiman City FC, Charles Kwadwo Ntim alias Micky Charles as questioned the legitimacy of the Ghana Football Association Vetting Committee.

Michky Charles claim that the Ghana Football Association didn’t follow due process in appointment the Vetting Committee hence their activities are null and void.

He stated that the Vetting Committee is required by the GFA regulations to be made up of 5 people but he has been reliably informed that the members were six in total .

“If you read our statute it is clear on elections committee article 54. It says the elections committee is the body in charge of organizing and supervising the elections process in accordance with the provisions of this statute and the elections regulation of the GFA.”

“The elections committee charge be made up of five members. It is shall be made up of five members including at least one woman and a lawyer who shall be chairperson.”

“When you go into our regulation it is clear it says the compositions the elections committee shall be composed as follows a chairperson, a vice chairperson, three ordinary members and an appropriate number of substitutes shall also be appointed by the congress of the GFA. The elections shall appoint a secretary from amongst its members who shall be responsible for the related logistical matters and who shall take care of administrative matters,” he told Peace FM in an interview.
