Agent of Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus, Jen Mendelewitsch has revealed that they initially agreed deal with giants Chelsea for a possible transfer.
According Jen Mendelewitsch, she and Mohammed Kudus knew they were going to Stamford Bridge after agreeing personal terms with the two-time European Champions but the deal collapsed.
However, she said the deal couldn’t happen because Chelsea exhausted their entire budget after spending over 120 million on Moises Caicedo and couldn’t afford to sign Kudus in the same window.
“The truth is that at Chelsea they were completely taken by the transfer of Caicedo, which took all their energy,” she said in an interview with After Foot RMC.
Mohammed Kudus after the Chelsea deal collapsed join West Ham United from Ajax for a reported fee of 45 million Euros.
