Mohammed Kudus is scheduled to fly to London on Saturday to complete a proposed €44.5million (£38.2m, $48m) transfer from Ajax to West Ham United.
If all goes to plan, the 23-year-old attacking midfielder according to theathletic website, will do a medical and sign a five-year contract with the option of a further 12 months.
West Ham have agreed to pay Ajax €41.5m plus €3m in add-ons, with the Eredivisie club retaining a 10 per cent sell-on clause.
Manager David Moyes was asked about West Ham’s deal for Kudus earlier today, saying: “He’s not our player but I did watch his hat-trick last night.”
Kudus scored three goals for Ajax in their 4-1 Europa League qualifier win against Ludogorets.
West Ham and Ajax have already done business this summer, with Edson Alvarez joining the Premier League side for €40m earlier this month.
