Ghana’s National Men’s Football team head coach, Chris Hughton, has described Mohammed Kudus as a player in the process of development.
The 23-year-old midfielder, who joined West Ham United in September, has been a standout performer, earning recognition with his splendid goal against Brentford, which was voted West Ham’s Goal of The Month for October.
“Kudus is a real developing player and is still developing. In some terms, he might not be so young, but I think he’s still somebody that is developing his game. I think West Ham will be good for him because of what the Premier League means and also a very, very experienced head coach in David Moyes,” remarked Hughton.
Kudus contributed a crucial goal in Ghana’s 2-1 victory over Central African Republic, securing their qualification for the 2023 AFCON.
He also scored in Ghana’s 3-1 win against Liberia in an international friendly, but remained scoreless in friendlies against the USA and Mexico, where Ghana suffered 4-0 and 2-0 defeats, respectively.
