Ghanaian defender Gilbert Narh Djangbah has joined Moldovan champions Petrocub Hincesti in the summer transfer window.
The 20-year-old versatile centre-back joins Petricub after he was discovered through fan platform Nordensa.
“FC Petrocub HînceÅŸti welcomes another top talent from Nordensa! Gilbert Narh is the latest addition to the current champions of the Moldovan Super Liga,” wrote Nordensa, confirming his signing.
“The complete defender is ready to make an immediate impact and strengthen the FC Petrocub HînceÅŸti’s defence for the upcoming season.”
Narh, who can play across the backline, is expected to strengthen Petrocub as they continue to quest in Europe while eyeing the defence of their title.
The hardworking centre-back moved to Petrocub alongside compatriot Manuel Nana Agyemang, also a defender.
“Petrocub made three more transfers! It is the former midfielder of Dacia Buiucani, Dumitru Bivol (22 years old) and the Ghanaian defenders Manuel Nana Agyemang (22 years old) and Gilbert Djangmah Narh (20 years old),” wrote the club on social media.
Narh has a brief stint with Ghana’s U20 team in the past and looks eager to earn a breakthrough in Europe.
