Defeated by Morocco in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac praised the performance of his North African opponents.
Milo spoke at a press conference after his team’s defeat against Morocco (1-0) during the first day of the group stage of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations .
“It was a complicated game and we expected it. Morocco are one of the best teams in Africa. We didn’t manage to convert our chances and I think the Moroccans were a bit luckier. When we thought the game was definitely closed, it (Boufal’s goal) happened, ”he said.
“I would like to congratulate the Moroccan team for the victory, but also my men for the hard fight they fought. We still have two games in this group, so we have to stay focused to be able to advance to the next stage, ”concluded the Serbian technician.
