Moses Armah Parker, the President of Medeama SC, has attributed his club’s triumph in the 2022/23 betPawa Premier League to the unwavering support of his spouse, Rose Linnet Osei Bonsu who serves as the vice president of the club.
Medeama SC, based in Tarkwa, secured their first-ever betPawa Premier League title on Sunday, June 11, with a convincing 3-0 victory over relegated Tamale City at the Akoon Park.
In an interview with Max TV, the accomplished football administrator expressed his gratitude to his wife for her contributions throughout the nine-month league campaign.
“People don’t know this today let me tell you. One of the strong pillars and backbone of our success at Medeama is my wife. In fact, she is my key operations brain behind the scenes”, he said.
As a result of their league victory, Medeama SC will participate in the 2023/24 CAF Champions League, marking their third appearance in continental competition. They previously featured in the CAF Confederations Cup in 2013 and 2015.
