According to renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, it appears highly likely that Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey will depart from Arsenal during this summer transfer window.
Throughout the summer, there have been reports suggesting that the 30-year-old could leave the Premier League club, particularly after his form experienced a slight dip towards the end of the recently concluded season.
Fabrizio Romano has further revealed that Partey has received offers from other clubs, as Arsenal is not engaged in negotiations to extend his contract, which is set to expire in 2025.
While Thomas Partey played a crucial role for Arsenal in the just-concluded 2022/23 season, his form declined over the last ten games as the Gunners fell short in their pursuit of the Premier League title, ultimately finishing in second place while Manchester City secured their third consecutive title.
Having joined Arsenal in the summer of 2020 following the activation of his release clause from Atletico Madrid, Partey has featured for Mikel Arteta’s side for three seasons, with the most recent one being his most productive.
In total, the midfielder has made 81 appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal, scoring five goals and providing three assists.
