Chairman of the MTN FA Cup Committee, Wilson Arthur, has revealed the prize package for the winner of this year’s MTN FA Cup.

The competition resumes this weekend as the tournament enters the quarter-final stage, with the remaining clubs battling for places in the semi-finals. Matches will be played at the Cape Coast Stadium and the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.

Speaking ahead of the fixtures, Arthur disclosed that the eventual champions will receive GH¢80,000 in prize money, along with an additional GH¢100,000 support package to help the club prepare for continental competition.

“The winner of the MTN FA Cup final will receive GH¢100,000 for preparation for Africa apart from the GH¢80,000 prize money and a share of the final gate proceeds,” Arthur told Asempa FM.

In the quarter-final fixtures, Aduana FC will face Techiman Liberty FC on Saturday. Sunday’s games will see Nations FC take on Berekum Chelsea FC at Cape Coast.

Meanwhile, Medeama SC will battle Attram De Visser Soccer Academy, while Dreams FC lock horns with Heart of Lions FC at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.

The winner of the MTN FA Cup will also secure the opportunity to represent Ghana in the CAF Confederation Cup for the 2026/27 season.
