In his Easter message on Friday, April 7, Nana Yaw Amposah, the CEO of Asante Kotoko, urged the club’s followers to focus on the shared values that bring them together.

The young football administrator acknowledged the recent negative events within the club and indirectly addressed media claims that a board member made a tribal remark during a recent board meeting.

The club’s senior executives have been deeply divided on this issue. Nana Yaw emphasized in his Friday address that Asante Kotoko is a multicultural organization and that what binds them should be greater than what divides them.

“As the Bible says, a house divided against itself shall not stand. What binds us should be greater than what divides us. We are one people and must learn to agree to disagree,” a portion of the message reads.
