Nana Yaw Amponsah, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Asante Kotoko, has expressed his greatest achievement during his tenure at the club.
According to him, finishing second in the Ghana Premier League in his first season stands out as his top accomplishment.
“My greatest achievement was securing a second-place finish in my first season at Asante Kotoko. I didn’t assemble that team, and Maxwell Konadu wanted to replace 20 players to form a more balanced squad,” Nana Yaw Amponsah shared in an interview with Wontumi Sports.
In the same interview, the CEO of Asante Kotoko acknowledged that his role with the club has not been easy. He mentioned that certain occurrences within the organization have brought him to tears.
“Asante Kotoko’s job is difficult. The shenanigans around the club will make you cry. I have cried before as the CEO of the club. Prosper Ogum has cried before and Zerbo also cried,” Nana Yaw Amponsah revealed.
