Referee Nathan Anafo has been selected to officiate the crucial Access Bank Division One League playoff match between Tamale City and Debibi United on Wednesday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The highly anticipated encounter is scheduled to kick off at 3:00pm, with both clubs battling for the final qualification slot to the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.
Tamale City booked their place in the playoff after emerging champions of Zone One A, while Debibi United secured top spot in Zone One B to set up the decisive showdown.
The playoff has become a key route to Premier League promotion in recent years, with clubs including Nsoatreman FC, Bofoakwa Tano, Young Apostles FC, and Eleven Wonders all earning promotion through the competition held at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The winner of Wednesday’s fixture will join Port City FC and FC AshantiGold ‘04, who have already confirmed their places in next season’s top-flight league.
Anafo will be assisted by Gilbert Adom Mensah and Kofi Nyarko Bakae, while Maxwell Hanson will serve as the fourth referee. Daniel Kwame Darkwah has also been appointed as match commissioner for the encounter.
Ticket prices for the playoff have been fixed at GH¢30 for VIP and GH¢10 for the Centre Line and Popular Stand sections.
