Nations FC has successfully secured the signing of Bechem United center-back Samuel Osei Kuffour, finalizing the deal just before the transfer window closed on Sunday night.
The 22-year-old defender, who joined Bechem United in 2021, quickly established himself with an impressive debut season. His standout performances earned him a season-long loan at Portuguese third-tier club FC Felgueiras. After returning to Bechem United last season, Kuffour continued to excel, featuring in 28 league matches and scoring two goals.
Football transfer expert Shaban Mohammed confirmed the transfer this morning, noting that Nations FC has added Kuffour to their growing roster as they aim to compete for the Ghana Premier League title in the upcoming season.
Nations FC has been actively preparing for the new season, participating in both the Nsenkyire Cup and the recently concluded GHALCA Top 4 invitational tournament. The team is determined to make a strong impact in the league.
Kuffour is expected to make his debut for Nations FC on September 6, 2024, in a highly anticipated match against his former club, Bechem United, at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Abrankese.
