The vice chairman of the Black Stars management committee Osei Kweku Parmer has blamed the poor patronage of Black Stars matches on the negative news that journalists and certain people in the football circles keep peddling about the team.
In an interview with Asempa FM, the Tema Youth owner stated that “when you have journalists constantly calling the Ghana Football Association sika die sika die and vilifying the team this is the result you get”
Attendance to Black Stars matches have been very poor since the 2014 world cup and the experienced football administrator believes that the team is suffering from poor media reportage
The team is currently in Russia preparing for a friendly against the Russians
