New Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Abdelwadie Mourad has expressed his excitement about joining the Ghanaian giants, describing the club as the biggest in Ghana and promising to give his best to earn the trust of the team.
Mourad said he is fully aware of Asante Kotoko’s rich history and impressive collection of trophies and is determined to contribute to the club’s success.
The goalkeeper said his immediate objective is to work hard, prove himself and win the confidence of the technical team and supporters.
Mourad said he is proud to become part of a club with such a strong tradition and hopes to play his role in adding more success to the Porcupine Warriors.
He said:
“Who doesn’t know Asante Kotoko is the biggest club in Ghana? They have a lot of trophies, and I want to be part of this club, giving my best to let the team trust me.”
Mourad’s comments come as he begins a new chapter with Asante Kotoko, with expectations high for the new goalkeeper to establish himself and help the club compete for major honours.
