In preparation for the highly anticipated ‘Ga-Mantse’ derby against Great Olympics, Hearts of Oak’s interim coach, Abdul Rahim Bashiru, has unveiled a 20-man squad, aiming to reverse their recent poor performances.

Newly-acquired goalkeeper Kwadwo Osei Bonsu has made a notable impression and secured a spot in the squad, reportedly signing a three-year contract.

This move sees him take the place of Richmond Ayi, who has been omitted due to inconsistent performances.

Surprisingly, Kelvin Osei Asibey, a key center-back, has been left out of the list, with the reasons behind this decision yet to be disclosed.

The squad includes Ivorian forward Cisse Kassim and former Asekem FC striker Isaac Frimpong, recognized for his standout performance in the 2021 Ashanti Regional Division 2 Middle League.
