English Premier League side Newcastle United are one of the Premier League sides interested in signing Ghana and Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus.

According to the Daily Mail, the former FC Nordjaelland star could look to force a move out of Ajax in the January transfer window.

Kudus’ stock continues to rise and rise. He went into the World Cup in amazing form for the Eredivisie giants. The 22-year-old had scored 10 goals in all competitions, including four in the Champions League.

And he followed that with some brilliant performances in Qatar. Ghana were desperately unlucky to not make it out of their group. He scored twice in the dramatic loss to South Korea. Meanwhile, he also set up a goal against Portugal. At one stage, Kevin Prince Boateng claimed that he was ‘the best player at the tournament’.

Liverpool United, Tottenham Hotspur and Everton are all interested in securing the signature of the 2022 World Cup star.

Meanwhile, there is also interest from Newcastle.

Sportsworldghana.com is gathering that Kudus could look to leave Ajax in January after they missed out on qualifying for the knockout stages of the Champions League.

It is not difficult to see why Kudus is attracting such a lot of attention. He appears to have taken his game to another level this season.

He is also someone who seems to be just as comfortable playing in central midfield as he does up front. And he may not cost an eye-watering sum, with Ajax reportedly holding out for at least £30 million.

Mohammed Kudus is a player with ‘incredible‘ potential. And given what Newcastle appear to be building under Eddie Howe, he may be an absolutely ideal addition to their ranks.
