Nigerian FA President Amaju Pinnick holds talks with Ighalo ahead of Ghana clash

Nigerian FA President Amaju Pinnick held talks in Saudi Arabia with Al Hilal striker Jude Odion Ighalo ahead of the 2022 world cup qualifying play off against Ghana.

Ighalo, who was the 2019 AFCON top scorer missed the recent edition in Cameroon as the Super Eagles got eliminated by Tunisia in the second round.

The Nigerian FA is leaving no stone unturned as they seek to get their best arsenals for the playoff against Ghana next month.

Amaju flew to Saudi on Thursday and had a meeting with Ighalo who has assured him of his availability for the important game.

Nigeria will travel to Ghana for the first leg before entertaining the Black Stars in Lagos
