No ‘Mugabe’ Mubarak Wakaso as Otto Addo announces Black Stars squad for World Cup

Ghana head coach Otto Addo has named his final 26 players for the FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar later this month.

The list, has no slot for long-serving midfielder Mubarak Wakaso.

The Ghana gaffer has excluded Joseph Paintsil, and Jeffrey Schlupp from the squad.

Kamal Sowah, Kamaldeen Sulemana and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku are all included in the Black Stars team for the tournament.

Lawrence Ati Zigi, Abdul Nurudeen, Ibrahim Danlad

Defenders:

Denis Odoi, Tariq Lamptey, Alidu Seidu, Daniel Amartey, Joseph Aidoo, Alexander Djiku, Mohammed Salisu, Abdul-Rahman Baba, Gideon Mensah

Midfielders: André Ayew, Thomas Partey, Elisha Owusu, Salis Abdul Samed, Mohammed Kudus, Daniel-Kofi Kyereh Forwards:

Daniel Barnieh Afriyie, Kamal Sowah, Issahaku Abdul Fatawu, Osman Bukari, Inaki Williams, Antoine Semenyo, Jordan Ayew, Kamaldeen Sulemana
