Premier League fans are surprised at the exclusion of Thomas Partey from the team of the season nominations despite the midfielder enjoying an outstanding campaign.

The Ghana midfielder has been a key player for Arsenal in their pursuit of the title this season, yet his name was not included in the list of nominated midfielders, leaving many scratching their heads.

Partey has made 26 Premier League appearances for Arsenal, starting in 24 of them and scoring three goals.

His performances in midfield have been instrumental in Arsenal’s impressive run this season, with the Gunners currently sitting at the top of the league.

Many fans have taken to social media to express their disbelief at Partey’s exclusion, with some describing it as a “joke” and others calling for the criteria for the team of the season to be reviewed.
