Ghanaian international Jeffery Schlupp has returned to England, signing a one-year deal with the Championship outfit Norwich City.
Schlupp, 32, featured for Glasgow Celtic, where he won the 2024/25 Scottish Premier league. He, however, did not extend his deal, which ended on June 30, 2025.
Schlupp mentioned that he was pleased with the project at Norwich City and decided to join after speaking to the manager.
“I’m really excited. It’s something new again but a lot to look forward to back in the Championship at a big club,” Schlupp told the club’s website.
“I’ve spoken to the head coach [Liam Manning] about the plan for this year, and I am excited to be involved.”
Schlupp becomes the club’s eighth signing this summer as they hope to make a return to the English Premiership.
The versatile has featured for teams, including Leicester City and Crystal Palace, in the past.
