Nsoatreman FC has slapped a price tag of €1.5m on young midfielder Foster Apetorgbor, following interest from clubs, including Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak.
The 16-year-old sensation has been turning heads since joining the club earlier this year after a stellar performance in the Ashanti Regional Inter-Schools Championship.
Apetorgbor has been instrumental in Nsoatreman’s success, including their FA Cup title win last season. He was the hero who scored the winning penalty kick for the Amanaso club. According to the club’s General Manager, Eric Alagidede, Nsoatreman will sanction a move for the teenage sensation if the 1.5 million Euros price tag is met by interested clubs.
“Foster Apetorgbor has a release clause of €1.5m. If you get money come buy,” Alagidede wrote on Facebook.
Meanwhile, Apetorgbor remains focused on completing his WASSCE exams before making any decisions about his future. The talented midfielder has already earned two Player of the Month awards and was named Nsoatreman FC’s Young Player of the Season.
His promising career is set to take another step forward as he prepares with Nsoatreman for their CAF Confederation Cup debut against Elect-Sport FC of Chad, with the first leg taking place in Accra on August 18 and the return leg on August 23.
