Asante Kotoko coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum, has urged his team to be prepared to face any opposition in the upcoming 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
The Reds have already recruited 12 players to bolster their squad and are gearing up for the new season.
According to Dr. Ogum, the team should be ready to face any team at any time, anywhere, and get the desired results. “We have to be ready to play any of these teams at any time, anywhere, we should be able to play them and get the results,” he told the club’s media.
Kotoko will open their Ghana Premier League season with an away game against Karela United at the Aliu Mahama Stadium. The Porcupine Warriors finished last season in the 6th position with 49 points.
Meanwhile, Kotoko will clash with Medeama SC to officially commission the newly built TNA Stadium on August 16 in Tarkwa.
The team is eager to make a strong start to the new season and Dr. Ogum’s words of wisdom will serve as motivation for his players to stay focused and determined.
