Feyenoord Rotterdam has secured Ibrahim Osman on a season-long loan from Brighton & Hove Albion, a Premier League club.
At 19 years old, the Ghanaian forward, renowned for his speed and agility, is eager to make an impact in the Dutch Eredivisie. He is determined to contribute to Feyenoord’s ambitions both in domestic competitions and on the European stage.
Osman’s decision to join Feyenoord stems from the club’s strong track record of developing young talent, providing him with an ideal environment to further hone his skills. “I chose Feyenoord because I know that young players here get the opportunity to grow and improve,” Osman stated, emphasizing the importance of this move for his growth.
Before this move, Osman had an impressive spell with FC Nordsjaelland in Denmark, where he scored ten goals and provided eight assists in 54 appearances. His stellar performance caught the eye of Brighton, who signed him before deciding to loan him out to gain more experience.
Osman’s swift rise in the football world led to his call-up to the Ghana national team, where he made his debut in March 2024.
While he will wear the number 38 jersey for Feyenoord, fans will have to wait for his debut as he awaits the issuance of his combined residence and work permit. Once approved, Osman is expected to inject dynamism and depth into Feyenoord’s attack, making him a player to watch this season.
