German club Hannover 96 have announced the signing of German-born Ghanaian talented forward Christopher Gavin Scott.
The former Bayern Munich forward, who won the league and cup double with Royal Antwerp in Belgium last season, will initially be on loan until the end of the current season. Subsequently, there is a purchase option for the 21-year-old.
Hannover 96 Sporting Director Marcus Mann, shared his excitement with the signing of Scott. ”Christopher can be used flexibly as a liaison player in the centre of midfield, in the ten-man position and in attack. He is characterized by an extraordinary dynamism in his actions. With his tempo dribbles, he can provide impetus and give us further variability and additional goal threat in the offensive area.
”We have been following his path for some time and are very pleased to have won another youth international for Hannover 96 with him.” He added.
Christopher Scott after completing his move expressed joy with his return to Germany.
“I had different options, but after the exchange with the people in charge at 96, I very quickly made the decision that I wanted to go to Hanover. They went out of their way to take care of me,”
”In the conversations, they showed me where they see me with my strengths, but also outlined how they imagine my further development. That was very convincing. I’m looking forward to the team, where there are a lot of guys my age, plus some older ones like Ron-Robert Zieler and Marcel Halstenberg, whose experience you can benefit from as an even younger player.” the player concluded.
