Two Ghana International midfielders, Thomas Partey and Samed Abdul Salis will clash in the UEFA Champions League competition this season.
The two box-to-box midfielders will battle each other in the competition for the first time as opponents following the draw on Thursday evening.
Salis Abdul Samed, who plays for French Ligue 1 outfit Racing Club de Lens will come up against Thomas Partey who plys his trade in English Premier League with Arsenal FC.
This will be Partey’s first time in the UEFA Champions League since joinning the Gunners from Spanish La Liga side Atletico Madrid three seasons ago.
Salis has on the other hand never tasted any UEFA Champions League game in his young career and will have the opportunity to shine against the likes of Sevilla, PSV Eindhoven and Arsenal.
The competition starts on September 19.
