Azerbaijan top-flight side Neftchi PFK have completed the signing of Ghanaian striker Godsway Donyoh from Israel Ligat HaAl winners Maccabi Haifa.
The Ghanaian footballer has signed a two-year contract with the Black and Whites outfit who are into European competition next season.
The 27-year-old forward will wear the number 11 jersey in at Neftci as he joins from the Green and Whites side.
A graduate of Ghana’s Right to Dream academy, Donyo joined English club Manchester City in 2013 where he failed to shine.
He was subsequently released by Man City and joined Swedish clubs Jurgorden (2013) and then Falkenberg (2014-2015). The front-line player, who was then transferred to Danish “Norscheland” (2016-2020), was leased to the German club “Dynamo” (Dresden) in 2020.
