Iraqi powerhouse Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya have officially confirmed the signing of Ghanaian striker Sampson Eduku on a permanent deal from Tamale City FC.
Eduku has signed a one-year contract with an option to extend for a further year after successfully completing his mandatory medical test.
He was a top player in the 2022-23 Ghana Premier League season and was courted by a lot of big teams across Africa and in Ghana.
The 27-year-old scored 14 goals and provided three assists in 27 appearances in the Ghana Premier League and also won won four man of the match awards.
Eduku signed for Tamale City at the beginning of the 2022-23 campaign after leaving Guinean side CI Kamsar, where he spent one season.
He will play in the Iraqi top-flight this season following his move after snubbing Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC and Accra Hearts of Oak SC.
