Ghanaian midfielder has officially completed a permanent transfer from to after successfully passing his medical examination and signing a long-term contract.

The highly-rated 21-year-old defensive midfielder has penned a deal that will keep him at Hamburger SV until at least 2030, marking a major step forward in his professional career. The German club activated Amoako’s €2 million release clause to secure his signature as they continue strengthening their squad ahead of the new season.

Kofi Amoako has been widely admired for his composure on the ball, tactical discipline, and strong defensive presence in midfield. His impressive performances at Dynamo Dresden attracted interest from several clubs, but Hamburger SV moved quickly to complete the transfer and secure one of Ghana’s promising young talents.

The move represents a significant milestone for the midfielder, who now gets the opportunity to continue his development at one of Germany’s historic clubs. Hamburger SV, known for their rich football tradition and passionate fan base, see Amoako as an important addition to their long-term project.

Club officials are believed to be impressed with the Ghanaian’s maturity, work ethic, and ability to control the tempo of games despite his young age. His versatility in midfield and ability to break up opposition attacks are expected to add depth and balance to the HSV squad.

For Amoako, the transfer also provides a bigger platform to showcase his talent at a higher level of competition while continuing to build his reputation in European football. Ghanaian football fans will be eager to see how the young midfielder adapts to life at Hamburger SV and whether he can establish himself as a key figure for the club in the coming years.

The transfer further highlights the growing influence of Ghanaian players in European football, with Kofi Amoako becoming the latest young talent to secure a major move abroad.
