Belgian Pro League side OH Leuven have officially completed the signing of Ghanaian winger Emmanuel Addai, with the 24-year-old putting pen to paper on a contract that will keep him at the club until 2028.
Addai arrives on a free transfer after ending a successful two-year spell with Azerbaijani champions Qarabag, where he developed into one of the club’s most influential attacking players.
The pacey winger leaves Qarabag with an impressive record in both domestic and European competitions, having consistently delivered strong performances on some of football’s biggest stages.
During the 2025/26 season, Addai featured in 10 UEFA Champions League matches, facing elite opposition including Chelsea, Liverpool and Newcastle United. He also found the back of the net in Qarabag’s 2-0 victory over FC Copenhagen during the Champions League campaign.
Across all competitions last season, the Ghanaian contributed seven goals and four assists in 47 appearances, attracting interest from several clubs across Europe before OH Leuven won the race for his signature.
The move marks a return to Belgian football for Addai, who will now be aiming to make an immediate impact and strengthen Leuven’s attacking options ahead of the 2026/27 Pro League season.

With his experience in European competitions and proven attacking qualities, Addai is expected to play an important role as OH Leuven look to compete strongly in the Belgian top flight this season.
