Ghanaian defender Philemon Baffour has completed a transfer to Portuguese fourth-tier side Juventude de Évora from fellow Portuguese club O Elvas ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The 25-year-old becomes the latest addition to the club as they continue strengthening their squad for the new campaign.
Comfortable at right-back, centre-back and on the right side of midfield, Baffour brings versatility and valuable experience to his new team after spending the last four years playing in Portugal.
The former Dreams FC defender moved to Europe in 2022 and has since featured for Rio Ave, Alcains and O Elvas, steadily building his career in Portuguese football.
Baffour also boasts international pedigree, having been included in Milovan Rajevac’s final 28-man Ghana squad for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
The move offers the versatile defender a fresh challenge as he looks to continue his development and help Juventude de Évora achieve their ambitions in the upcoming season.
