Asante Kotoko head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum has named a formidable starting XI for today’s highly anticipated match against former Ghana Premier League champions Medeama SC, set for August 16, 2024.
The match will mark the grand inauguration of the new T and A Stadium in Tarkwa, a state-of-the-art facility that promises to be a key venue for football and other events in the region. This historic occasion is significant for both Medeama and the Tarkwa community.
Goalkeeper Frederick Asare will lead the team from the goalpost, with Coach Ogum assembling a squad rich in experience and talent across defense, midfield, and attack.
However, the team will be without key players Elvis Kyei Baffour, Abdoel Karem, and Somuah Bernard for the match.
