Striker Omar Bogle is pleased after scoring his first goal of the season for Doncaster Rovers in the English League 1 over the weekend.
Bogle climbed off the bench to score for his side as they lost 2-1 to Wigan Athletic at home and he is pleased with his output.
“I managed to come on and get a goal which is great, it came off my knee and before I knew it the ball was in the net.” Bogle told his club’s website
“Gary has brought me back in and it’s down to me now to get myself as fit as I possibly can to repay him.”
“I worked with him while I was training with the young lads so I’d like to think he’s seen me having the right attitude and working hard every day.”
“Getting match fit can obviously only come from playing every week and if I do that I feel I can score goals to help the team out of this situation.”
Bogle was banished from the Doncaster Rovers team until new coach Gary McSheffrey came last month and brought him back
