Black Stars intensified their training on Mondays evening in Garoua as they prepare to surprise Ghanaian on Tuesday evening against Comoros.
The four-time AFCON champions need a big and healthy win over the minnows to stand a chance of making it into the round of 16 stage of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
The Ghana team trained harder and full of urgency as they prepare for their last group C encounter against a determined Comoros side.
Ghana suffered defeat to Morocco in the opening game of Group C encounter and failed to win against a depleted Gabon side last Friday leaving them with a smaller chance of progressing to the next level of the competition.
Morocco could do Ghana a favour by beating Gabon in the other group game which could see Ghana finish second in the the group to book a place in the knockout stage.
Ghana could still win against Comoros and exit the tournament if result from other matches doesn’t go their way as a lot of teams could finish as better placed third teams should Gabon manage to pick a point against Morocco.
Should the Stars exit the competition, it will be the first time since 2006 that the Ghana have failed to progress from the group stages at the Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
