Ghana’s Black Stars skipper Andre Ayew has finally reacted to Black Stars uninspiring goalless stalemate against Madagascar on Sunday, June 18, 2023.
The Ghana captain played full throttle for the senior national team as they drew 0-0 on the road to make it three winless run in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers away games.
“One more to go,” he wrote on Instagram after the game.
Ghana will have to draw or win against Central Africa Republic in September in their last Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers to secure qualification to play at the tournament early 2024 in Ivory Coast.
Ayew is Ghana’s highest scoring player in the history of the Africa Cup of Nations tournament with nine goals, one goal above Asamoah Gyan who scored eight goals in the tournament.
