Majority Leader in the Parliament of Ghana has made a bold claim that former Brighton and Hove Albion coach, Chris Hughton is capable of welding the Black Stars after poor AFCON campaign.
According to him, Ghana lacks quality players and the right man to weld the average materials into becoming great and achieve something for the country is Chris Hughton.
As reported by Sportsworldghana.com, the former Premier League manager is currently in Ghana amidst talks of a possible appointment as Ghana coach.
“Chris Hughton is a coach who knows how to build with average materials and that’s Ghana’s situation now.
Our materials are not good so we need Chris to weld. Otto Addo is just a second coach for Dortmund”, he said to Angel FM in an interview.
Chris Hughton is the favourite of Ghana’s government for the vacant Black Stars coaching role but reports suggest Ghana FA are considering appointing former Ghana player Otto Addo as new head coach.
