Danish-Ghanaian forward Osman Addo made a significant impact in Boldklubben af 1893’s (B 93) hard-fought 2-2 draw against HB Køge at Sundby Idrætspark in the Danish 1st Division.
Addo, who started the match and played 65 minutes, showcased his attacking prowess by netting a stunning right-footed strike into the top corner in the 15th minute. His goal doubled B 93’s advantage after Mikkel Mouritz had opened the scoring with a spectacular free-kick. With a superior head-to-head record—four wins from their last seven meetings—the home side appeared to be in control.
However, HB Køge mounted a spirited comeback. Sebastian Larsen ignited their resurgence by heading in a goal just past the hour mark. As the game neared its conclusion, Niklas Jakobsen found the net in the 83rd minute, ensuring the visitors salvaged a point.
Despite B 93 enjoying 51% possession and registering 10 shots, HB Køge proved the more aggressive side with 15 attempts, four of which tested the goalkeeper. Addo’s performance adds to his season tally of four goals and two assists in 23 appearances, highlighting his importance to the team.
B 93 now turns its focus to their next fixture on April 4th against FC Roskilde, a crucial matchup in their fight to avoid relegation.
