Black Stars head coach Otto Addo recently visited Leicester City to check in on winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and his fully recovered teammate Jordan Ayew during a stop in the East Midlands.

Issahaku is currently undergoing rehabilitation after sustaining a serious knee injury that has ruled him out for the rest of the season. Unfortunately, this injury also sidelines him from Ghana’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar, scheduled for March 2025.

On a positive note, Jordan Ayew has made a full recovery from an injury he picked up during Ghana’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola on November 16, 2024. He has since returned to full fitness and rejoined Leicester City’s squad.

Addo’s visit highlights his dedication to supporting national team players, both in recovery and active competition, as they navigate their respective challenges and prepare for future engagements.
